Seattle Based Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced business analyst who will help us identify, design and deliver quality solutions to our customers.

Working with a team of consultants and reporting to the head of RightCrowd’s Professional Services team, you’ll have at least five years’ experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and end users, understanding their business requirements in order to design a solution that achieves the desired functional and technical outcomes.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Work closely with the business users to gather and document system / reporting requirements
  • Define and develop test scenarios to validate the functional and business outcomes
  • Assist with change management / business readiness resources to help develop training material and communication plan
  • Assess proposed solutions to determine which solution best fits the business need, identify gaps and shortcomings in solutions, and determine necessary workarounds or changes to the solution
  • Communicate status, risks, issues and key decisions made to end users and project managers
  • Assist with the analysis and design of the scope change requests of business users
  • Identify, develop and define key business metrics, assist in the tracking of metrics, and make recommendations to the business on implications and actions required based on performance

We want you to:

  • Have more than 5 years of working as a business analyst with experience in the analysis and design phases of system implementation life cycle
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to work constructively with various personalities (business users, system analysts, project managers, developers, testers, etc.)
  • Have excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Have strong analytical abilities and business acumen

Seattle Based Systems Analyst

We are looking for an experienced systems analyst who will help us identify, design and deliver quality solutions to our customers.

Working with a team of consultants and reporting to the head of RightCrowd’s Professional Services team, you’ll have at least five years’ experience engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders, understanding their business and technical requirements in order to design a solution that achieves the desired functional and technical outcomes.

We’re looking for you to:

  • Actively participate and lead the delivery of technology solutions and support the creation of solution documentation through a rigorous and logical approach to solving business performance issues
  • Produce documentation to support project delivery and define information architecture including functional and technical specifications, data flow diagrams, test cases and requirements traceability matrices
  • Facilitate and lead when needed, interacting directly with customers across business and IT units to assess needs and align objectives
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Deliver on technical analysis and planning, business performance analysis, and business process design
  • Support the creation and execution of test scripts to ensure the functional requirements have been met
  • Support the adoption of the solution through unit, system and integration testing, and identifying deployment activities
  • Communicate status, risks, and issues to project managers

We want you to:

  • Have more than 5 years of experience working as a systems or technical business analyst with experience in the analysis, design, verification and deployment phases of system implementation life cycle
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other related technical field
  • Have a strong ability to analyze business and systems requirements and identify information systems integration points
  • Have a strong technical acumen to understand detailed functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience recognizing scope limitations and raising potential scope issues, while supporting the best technical solution design and approach
  • Be passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • Be a fast learner and willing to learn independently
  • Be able to travel domestically and internationally
