With over 35 years of IT and enterprise software experience, Darren co-founded RightCrowd and has led teams across engineering, customer success, and business analysis — always with a customer-first focus. He served as Chair of the PSIA's Physical Logical Access Interoperability (PLAI) Working Group (2015–2017), where he spearheaded a standards-based protocol enabling seamless integration across disparate physical access control systems — engaging industry players including Microsoft and the U.S. Department of Justice to demonstrate its real-world viability. His background also includes Director of Product Strategy at SAP, and he is recognized across the industry for translating complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused solutions.
